I departed from the airport, with my mind lingering in Taiwan, my family, and things that are familiar with me.
I was kind of nervous because it was my first time to go abroad myself.
There's one big challange waiting for me at the time I land in Jakarta.
The challange is that I have to carry out these affairs in 90 minutes: acquiring the "visa on arrival"(25USD) claiming my luggage, and then transfering them to the Garuda airline.
Fortunately, the person sitting next to me had the same schedule as I did: Taoyuan-Jakarta-Jogyakarta.
Therefore, I ask her a favor to transfer a message concerning my lateness to dyO,my host who will wear in red at KFC's counter once she land on Jog.
As expected, I failed to catch up with my flight in time. What is worse, I lost one of my luggages during the transfer process.
I was asked to describe my lost bag, fill out a sheet, and keep in touch with the office in Jakarta.
During my way to 2nd floor, where we bought tickets, two acquantances wave hospitably to me. I supposed they are crews of the airport, so I allowed them to move my luggage for me and accompany me upstair.\
After about 2 minutes' walk, I reached the destinition, and to my surprise, these two "crews" asked 10 USD for tips!! I gave them 400TWD but I felt being cheated >"<
When I arrived in Jog, it was alomost 8 p.m. Fortunately, dyO didn't abandon me in spite of the 4 hours' delay,I was moved!!!
He drove me to his home and then we went for a dinner. I met his family and have a good talk.
At night, I used the internet to get in touch with family and friends. It was such a pleasure to do in foreign country!
Moreover, I happended to know that Dyo's older brother was ex-president of FMSA in Indonesia~~a big surprise!
finally, I wish I could get back my luggage as soon as possible.
